With a small team of 75 employees, The Entrust Group fosters a family-like culture where employee growth and transparency are top priorities. However, the company had problems getting learning and internal messages into one place.

Learning was fragmented, with teams handling training separately and inconsistently. There was also no human resources management system (HRMS) for its hybrid workforce. Not to mention, Entrust recently transitioned from outsourcing human resources (HR) to having an in-house team of one.

Thankfully, Entrust didn’t let these challenges stop them. They found the right learning management system (LMS) for consolidating everything into a single platform. This action drove company-wide participation to an impressive 80% adoption rate.

The Challenge

When Charity Salazar joined The Entrust Group as Director of Human Resources, she quickly realized the company’s training was all over the place. Like many companies starting out, each department managed learning in its own unique way. While this way of doing things might have worked when the company began in 1994, not having a centralized system was no longer serving the employees well.

“One of the challenges we faced before partnering with Fig was the lack of consistency. Every department had a different approach to training, making it siloed and inefficient,” said Charity.

Employees no longer had to search through files, folders, chats, and emails. With one simple and secure login, all resources were now at their fingertips.

Fig provided hands-on support from the start, helping Entrust design what they now call the Entrust Hub. At the beginning of the partnership with Fig, Entrust brought together an internal stakeholder group from HR, marketing, accounting, and operations.

The Next Phase

LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT

 

Entrust isn’t stopping at a centralized learning and training solution. They’re taking it a step further with Fig-led leadership training and development workshops to continue driving success. “We’re kicking off EPIC Workshops with Fig because we know this training will lead to lasting change, not just a temporary boost,” highlighted Charity.

 

Fig Learning will lead live workshops for Entrust’s team. The first workshop will focus on giving and receiving feedback.

In addition, Fig is partnering with Entrust’s leadership team to develop a fully customized executive training program. This initiative includes 360-degree reviews to gather insights from peers, direct reports, and executives—allowing Fig’s experts to tailor leadership training to Entrust’s needs.
