Co-Mo Connect is a member-owned fiber and electric cooperative. With nearly 200 employees working across offices and the field, ensuring safety with OSHA compliant training is a top priority.

However, balancing training requirements with daily operations was a challenge. Employees needed accessible training without disrupting their work. The human resources (HR) team also needed a better system for tracking compliance, so modernizing their training approach was the logical next step. 

But first, the company had to overcome a significant challenge: making training work for its entire workforce.

Safety training has always been critical for Co-Mo, but effectively delivering had its challenges. Training sessions were traditionally held in person, requiring everyone, including field employees to visit the office. This format disrupted operations and made full participation nearly impossible.

In the past, training required field employees to step away from work, travel to the office, and sit through in-person sessions. This was inconvenient and made participation difficult, leading to compliance gaps.
